VAT supports its members by issuing comments to various legislative proceeds, press releases, position papers and lobbying to represent the opinion of alternatvie network operators in the public.

Particular emphasis is placed on equal access to scarce resources and to see that A1 Telekom Austria is not beeing privileged by various regulations.
